Performance Marketing for Positive Change

RevOffers is looking for an experienced Digital Media Buyer specializing in both Native and Programmatic advertising who is savvy in the planning and execution of successful digital media campaigns and  excited to bring their expertise, creativity, voice and ideas to company projects.

The Media Buyer will be responsible for managing and media buying for direct response advertisers, and lead generation campaigns by utilizing our direct supply and third party channels. They will manage and optimize campaigns to drive customer acquisition through display advertiser, native advertising, social marketing, and search marketing. The ideal candidate will have had experience working with direct CPA advertisers, Affiliate networks, DSP’s , and CRM platforms. This person should feel extremely comfortable with data and technology as well as ad copy and creative. They will be confident in working directly with teammates, advertisers, and decision makers while representing our business.  

Critical Responsibilities:

  • Manage planning, analyzing, deploying and optimizing paid channels for Digital Media campaigns
  • Manage the creative development and execution to support the online media effort (including copywriting and providing art direction and technical specifications), and ensuring creative and trafficking requests are fulfilled.
  • Manage and optimize digital campaigns across Facebook, Google, Snapchat, DSPs, Bing, Television and other channels
  • Manage campaign setup process to ensure campaigns are set up quickly and accurately
  • Media buy on CPA, CPM, and CPC pricing models to back into CPA goals
  • Optimize placements and targeting for optimal online media buys
  • Analyze results and maximize ROAS per our optimization process
  • Monitor tracking, delivery and campaign performance on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain a ROAS across your portfolio of projects
  • Review completed and running campaigns on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis and discuss ongoing efforts with senior staff
  • Provide buying specifications, monitor development and review media buys and post-buy analysis
  • Ensure cross-departmental communication by working with various team members across various departments 
  • Execute on performance analysis to ensure positive ROI and achievement of other company goals
  • Recommend and test new channels as needed
  • Coordinate projects and media requests with relevant team members, stakeholders and assigned client contacts, to determine specific advertising needs, communicating deadlines to Supervisor
  • Coordinate with the relevant stakeholders on understanding the current marketplace conditions, competitive spending or potential media opportunities; research and network to gain competitive information and advantage
  • Build and maintain an intimate knowledge of online advertising and affiliate marketing industry developments to spot trends and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Business Development, Economics or related analytics fields) Strong understanding of marketing strategy and functions
  • 2+ years of experience in digital media buying is a must
  • 2+ years of PAID Facebook ADVERTISING experience (Blueprint certified preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience managing your own clients/accounts (Any industry)
  • Media buying experience in purchasing and managing a range of online media campaigns (Native, Search, Display, social, etc)
  • Strong experience in performance-based online marketing models (e.g.: CPA, CPI, CPC)
  • Experience with campaign management & ad serving technologies (Everflow, Hasoffers, Cake, Linkshare)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics & Google Ad Words (Google Ad certification preferred) 
  • Deep understanding of the digital media industry, technologies; including website monetization, and online advertising
  • Ability to analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction
  • Experience with copy-writing and CTA development
  • Proven experience in direct response campaigns
  • Excellent grasp of data analytics
  • High proficiency in Excel required
  • Significant experience working within a high-performance B2C digital environment and a deep understanding of all relevant best practices, processes, KPIs, and business metrics (retail, fashion, events, or e-commerce experience is a strong plus) 
  • Experience or familiarity using industry media planning tools: Donovan / MediaOcean, Media Tools, MRI Research, TNS, DDS/Strata/DataTech, etc.
  • Basic understanding of paid social platforms ie. Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter – advanced knowledge is a plus
  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing changing priorities
  • Possess a highly analytical and data-driven mindset with a structured problem-solving approach
  • Be metrics/KPI-driven and embed a culture of data and fact-based decision making
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills, possessing the ability to identify, communicate, solve and follow up on issues that arise on a daily and weekly basis
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to hit deadlines
  • Experience managing and coordinating inter-departmental efforts
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Innovative thinker and collaborative team player
  • Strong, professional verbal communication
  • Strong prospecting, writing, presenting, negotiating and oral communication skills;
  • Experience running campaigns through Twitter, Snap, TikTok, and Reddit is a plus
  • An extensive network of contacts in the digital publishing environment is a plus
  • Basic Photoshop skills are a plus
